Cylinders as received will be bored out and fitted with a cast iron liner.

The forged pistons are low compression at 9.2:1 for smooth, quiet engine running and power from underneath.
The pistons have good guidance in the cylinder due to their long skirt, ensuring smooth running and long life.
Due to an internally tapered piston pin, the weight of only 565g (complete with rings, pin and clips) could be realized.
The standard piston of a R100GS is 730g.

You still need the matching cylinder head gaskets part no. 111969 or the complete gasket set part no. 111979.
